Seafood Lovers, This Is Your Spot The Captain’s Boil hits the mark for seafood boil cravings. The Cajun mix was perfectly seasoned, and the shrimp, mussels, and crab legs were super fresh. We shared a bag with the Captain’s Boil sauce (medium spice) and it was finger-licking good. The staff was helpful, the vibe casual but clean, and everything came out hot and fast. Great value for a seafood feast right in downtown Vancouver!

Went there with my family and we were impressed. Staff was friendly and food was good. We were seated right away and waitress helped us with the menu. She answered our questions and familiarized us with their menu and the way they cook. We ordered Pirate's feast with a lobster. Food came in bags, one bag of mussels, one bag of clams and the lobster, We got paper bibs, gloves and scissors to use. It was messy but the food was very tasty and we enjoyed it.

This restaurant offers an appealing seafood bag where you can choose your favorite seafood, put it in a bag, and shake it up with delicious sauces. It's fresh and tasty! I highly recommend the lobster and mussels, along with some enticing fried fries and fried shrimp.

One of many tasty options on Robson Street. You don’t need to dress up, in fact, you shouldn’t, but market price seafood can be expensive.

Great food, staff are giving it their best but have a hard time keeping up with the crowd at peak time. The location is great but the washrooms are under sized for the amount of people who can be dining

After checking into our hotel, we decided to go for dinner at one of our favorite spots, Captain’s Boil. This time, we visited the Robson Street location, which was conveniently just a two-minute walk from our hotel—perfect. As we entered, we were greeted by a friendly server and seated quickly. The restaurant had around six occupied tables, and I noticed that some sections were blocked off, likely reserved for big parties or special occasions. We stuck with our usual favorites: a pound each of mussels, shrimp, and clams, with Cajun sauce (medium spicy) and extra sauce for an additional two dollars, which was totally worth it. For sides, we had rice, corn, and potatoes. One thing I’ve always loved about Captain’s Boil is how fast the food arrives—no long waits. As soon as we got our order, we poured everything onto the table, added the extra sauce, and dug in. As expected, it was delicious, and we truly enjoyed every bite. What set this location apart from the Kingsway and Richmond branches was the service. The staff was attentive, constantly refilling our water, checking in on us, and frequently replacing our waste shell bucket. These small details made a difference. The washrooms were clean and stocked with updated amenities, which was a nice touch. Overall, it was a great dinner with solid service and tasty seafood. We’ll definitely be back. Would I recommend this location? Absolutely.
